Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in EMS. Minimum Educational Qualification Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. Job Description Extensive knowledge in maintenance, modeling, integration and design of EMS applications. Excellent writing, reporting, communication, organization and analytical skills. Excellent leadership and supervisory skills. Familiar with relevant international standards. Application Update: Manage the update of EMS applications in Master Station with the new equipment's (Substation, transformer, circuit, reactors, capacitors...etc.) in coordination with Projects and other departments. Projects: Manage EMS engineering projects, the installation of EMS applications and ensure their availability and usability. Manage and resolve EMS contractual related issues. New Equipment's: Review and approve the parameters for newly to be commissioned (equipment/circuit…etc.) provided by the contractor. Adherence to Standards: Review EMS applications design, quality, testing and related issues to ensure adherence to DEWA and international standards and meeting user expectations and requirements. Application Monitoring: Monitor the accuracy and functionality of EMS applications, and ensure necessary tuning and rectification. BSC: Prepare and update the objectives, KPIs, SLAs for the EMS unit and monitor their implementation. Prepare and submit the relevant KPI reports to the department coordinators. Reports: Review and approve daily, monthly and quarterly EMS applications status reports. Budgeting: Provide input to the department's budget by preparing estimate for manpower requirements, expected application modifications / implementations...etc. Power Plant Projects: Manage Power Plant Projects, revival and approval of new power plant operation philosophy, Functional Design Specification ( FDS ), method statements and testing procedures to carry out the different type of the testing on EMS applications e.g. FAT, SAT, AGC Commissioning, Tuning...etc. Testing: Manage different type of testing for EMS applications (FAT, SAT, Commissioning, Tuning...etc.). SLA: Assist in preparing and review the SLAs between the department and other parties relating to EMS unit and ensure compliance with the SLA KPIs. User Support: Ensure all users issues are addressed through appropriate troubleshooting mechanisms. User Trainings: Organize trainings on EMS applications for users departments.
